Cecilia Persian-Style Rug
Our Cecilia Rug's bold pattern shows the influence of 16th century tapestries woven in Italy. Shedding of loose fibers is normal and is a natural result of the process used to create our high-quality handmade wool rugs. With regular vacuuming and proper care, the shedding will diminish. Luster-washed for rich, mellow color and a silky feel. Sheared pile is velvety to the touch. Yarns are overtwisted to create a plush, springy pile. Fibers are yarn dyed for lasting, vibrant color. I debated for months before purchasing the 8x10 Ceclia rug. As soon as I unrolled it I knew it was the perfect choice. The colors are earth tones and go beautifully with our hardwood floors and leather sofas. Light shedding but nothing excessive. Highly recommend!

This is my 4th Pottery Barn wool rug, and I continue to be pleased. Superior quality and craftsmanship. The colors in my rug are not quite as muted as in the rug pictured, which is fine, but for someone who has a preference, I would advise ordering a sample.
All in all, this is a beautiful rug in every way and would look fantastic in any style of home!

This is the perfect rug for our dining room. We have the Pottery Barn black dining room table and nail-head chairs. The colors are muted, which is great. Quality of the rug is excellent. Shedding is minimal.

Disappointed.......

First, the rug isn't plush. Second, the colors varied so much, I have to return the two I purchased. Love the pattern and the colors would have been perfect if they were the same throughout. Some areas have the cranberry color and others have a very faded, almost a hint of pink. My advice is to see the rug before you buy it.

I purchasd the 10x14 for our recently remodeled family room. The pattern is rich and the muted colors are warm and blend in with any decor. It dresses up my faux wood floors and it doesn't shed at all. The delivery and set up was also excellent. I love the rug so much, I purchased an additional 3x5 for the entrance hallway. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

My Favorite Rug

I love this rug with its rich rust color in it and it is so plush. I just wish there was a 4x6 size though for my front entry. The 3x5 is too small and the 5x8 is too large. I would recommend this rug and style to anyone that needs the color rust in their rug. The sample I ordered and returned was a huge help in making my decision on this particular rug.

I am very pleased with this rug. I always loved the colors since they were perfect for our color scheme. However, I was disappointed that there was a hole in the corner of the rug like it had been used before. I did not take the time to return it since it is a big rug and would be very difficult for us to return.

Love these rugs. Colors are very pleasing and compliment the pillow covers I purchased a PB earlier. The rug is a little thick and touch to 'uncurl' after shipping..hence the reason for 4 not 5.

I love this rug! I've had this rug for over a year now in a high traffic area and it has held up great. I vaccuum it all the time on high and it is fine. It is very soft and durable and the colors are beautiful. I highly recommend it.

I like the rugs from PB but they shed really bad! From all the shedding I don't know how I still have a rug. I still like it for the price.

I settled on the Cecilia rug after looking and looking and four tries of other rugs in the room. I didn't think I would like the soft gray blue in the rug, but now its great because it breaks up the earth tones just a bit for interest. I would recommend this rug as it is well made and lovely.

I purchased this rug shortly after the Brandon rug, and use both in a long hallway that gets a lot of use. They've held up well so far (about 5 months), and show no crushing or wear pattern at all. The colors are pleasant and muted, and would work well in any style home where a patterned rug is desired.

I purchased the Cecelia area rug and purchased the largest size for my oversized family and media room. The colors are soft and muted and do not overwhelm the room. It has been easy to find furniture and accessories to compliment the rug. It has added warmth and depth to a room surrounded by large floor-to-ceiling windows. I heartily recommend this rug and hope you enjoy it as much as my family does.

I fell in love with the Cecelia Rug the first time I saw it in the catalog. I had to wait quite a while to order it. It shipped in great condition. I have the premium rug pad underneath it. I still love it just as much as I thought I would. It is thick, well-made, and beautiful. The design is unusual. The colors are gorgeous. I have had it for several months now. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I ordered this rug to match two other rugs of the same style and color. Happy to say it matches perfectly. It arrived swiftly with the standard shipping. I also ordered your top of the line pad to use with it. While the quality was fine, I was disapointed the size was off by a few inches both length and width. I was forced to cut it to fit. I use this carpet in a high traffic area and looks and works well in the location.
