I bought this rug in August of 2011 really liked the colors, pattern, and how it looks in the room. However, it sheds like CRAZY and it has not improved over the course of the last 5 months. People think we have pets (which we don't) and my floors are constantly covered with the fibers unless I vacuum daily. If I still had the receipt, I would have taken it back. I have another rug from PB which stopped shedding after a couple weeks, so I expected this one too as well. Very disappointing.....

I bought the Cecil rug for my dining room. When it arrived and once rolled out the colors of the rug compliment perfectly with the wall color. The style is great for the Arts and Craft style of the house.

I really enjoy the Cecil rug. The size, color and texture are good. It is shedding as predicted. No big deal. It is very hard to find a rug this size in this price range that you want to put into your home. and this one seems to fit the bill.

We just purchased this rug last week and though it looks great, it's a horrible rug. I've never seen something shed so much. We don't wear shoes in our house, so it's definitely not us causing it, but it sheds fine fibers as well as clumps of fibers onto everything! After attempting to vacuum it (was hoping that would help, thinking it was just shedding because it was new) twice, my vacuum became so overly clogged that it stopped working. I've never removed so much stuff from a vacuum in my life, and it still doesn't work. Ugh! I would recommend not buying this rug. We are returning it for sure!
