Poor Fabric Quality

I love the looks of the Carlisle sofa and believed I would receive a high quality product from Pottery Barn. I still love the design, but I have to agree with another reviewer that the cushions do sag (I have the down wrapped cushions) in the middle after less than a year. However, my primary complaint is that with just a few months regular use (it was used infrequently in the first 6 months of purchase), the washed grainsack fabric appears "pilly". I understand that this fabric is not supposed to have a "polished" look, but I also did not expect it to have a "worn" look in just 6 months. I do NOT recommend this fabric to other customers.

I have had the sofa for one year and I am appalled at the condition of the bottom seat cushions, pillows, and fabric. The seat cushions sag in the middle where the two meet no matter how many times a day I fluff them. The back cushions look 25 years old not 1 years old and the metal gray twill fabric is completely changing color! I expected a lot more for a Pottery Barn Sofa given its reputation and high price tag. I even looked up reviews of the couch and see several other complaints about how the couch is holding up even after a few months. At this point I am stuck with an expensive couch that looks old and worn after only a year. I would expect this from a discount furniture store but not Pottery Barn. I wanted to make you aware of my disappointment. I would honestly think twice about purchasing a big ticket item from Pottery Barn again as I look to furnish my home in the future.
