Seat cushions make it look worn

I've had this sofa for over a year. I love the shape, but its impossible to keep the bottoms cushions looking plumped. The down wrap is too thin in the middle, and They sag where they meet in the middle, and it really makes the whole thing look old and worn. Has anyone else had luck with replacement cushions? I'm thinking of replacing the whole sofa if I can't make it look better.

Beautiful but not functional

This sofa is beautiful. I loved the look and the deep seat. However, I have been very disappointed with the quality. Like other reviewers, I have had this sofa for 3 months and the cushions already appear as though they have years of use (maybe a denser foam is needed?). I am constantly trying to fluff the bottom cushions. On the other hand, the back cushions are so fluffy that it’s hard to get comfortable. I would recommend this sofa only if you plan to use it more for decorative purposes and not for everyday use. Lastly, even though the slip covers have washed very well (organic cotton canvas) the insides are not finished and I have to cut out wads of loose bunched thread after each wash in order to put the covers back on. Ugh.

I love the lines of this sofa but have had numerous problems. First thing it is 87 1/2" long not 90 that it stated when I ordered it. And the cushions! The cushions look like I have had this sofa for 3 years not 3 months. I have had slipcovered sofas with down cushions before and they never looked as bad as these do at 3 months. I am hoping there is a fix for this. I will say customer service at Pottery Barn furniture department has been very good.

...I've had this sofa for 3 months and I stil can't get comfortable sitting in it. The foam cushions are too soft and the feather layer is a joke. Watching a 2 hour movie on this sofa is a challenge. I should have returned it, but now it's too late. Yes I sat in this at the store but a 10 minute test can't accurately predict what it will be like at home. Im not a happy PB furniture customer.

Love the looks...

Although I love love love the style and looks of the sofa and the 2 chairs I ordered, I only give it 4 starts for just that, the style. I'm having issues with the sofa cushions not holding up well at all. Is anyone else experiencing this? I've only had the sofa since mid-January 2011 and feel they already need to be replaced.
Any help input would be great!

Ridiculous Delivery Time

I ordered this couch an EON ago, and am still waiting for it. I'm starting to HATE this couch even though I don't even have it yet. There is NO reason why it should be taking so long. I'm disappointed AND they told me the wrong delivery date so I got rid of my old couch and am now sitting on the floor until probably the year 2020 when my couch will be delivered. UGH!

I ordered the carlisle sofa and 2 chairs around Thanksgiving and they arrived just before Christmas. I fell in love with the chairs in the store but had never seen the sofa. It more than met my expectations. It is beautiful! It is very comfortable and has plenty of room. The seats are deep and the back/arms are not too high which keeps it from looking too large in any space. I needed a slip covered sofa (3 year old in the house!) but didn't want it to look like one. The English roll arms give it just the right amount of sophistication. I know there have been reports of the covers being difficult to put on but mine went on with ease. This is a fabulous collection!

Perfect slipcovered sofa

I selected the cotton/linen fabric for this sofa and I could not be happier. The slipcover fit appropriately and quite honestly better than the one in the photograph. Kudos to potterybarn for selling a slipcovered sofa with more character than their competitors! Best of all - it is very comfortable!

As soon as I saw this in the catalog I had to have it - love the style. It is nice and deep and extremely comfy. I specifically bought it because of the washable linen/cotton fabric. I purchased the sofa and two armchairs and have had problems with all the slipcovers fitting properly. Like the other reviewer the sofa slipcover was super tight and the chairs are super loose. Pottery Barn has replaced the outer cover twice and now it's great. I'll be getting new chair covers soon and am hoping they are better. It's been frustrating but PB is great about making it right. I still love this item!!

Fantastic Sofa!

I've wanted a well styled sofa like this for months as I've seen it in all of the decorating mags.
Even with the 2 mnth waiting period, I'm so glad we got it. It's ridiculously comfortable and practical with tailored slipcovers. (So it doesn't look sloppy)
I did notice that the base slipcover had some stressed seams which looked to be creating small holes-So I called PB, they asked for pics and are swapping it out- so I'm happy.
Just wish they had the LoveSeat

I received my sofa in March and I love it. It is the most comfortable couch I have ever owned. The depth is great for my husband who is tall,but not too deep for me. All 4 of us can cuddle and watch movies. So far, I have not had any problems with the linen/cotton covers. I have washed them (did not dry) and I did not have any trouble getting the covers on by myself.
I love the style of the sofa, also. It has the comfortable slipcovered look I like but doesn't look like every other couch in every other store.

We received our Carlisle sofa 3 weeks ago and could not be happier. The cover fit just fine with no problems- it is the washed linen. My husband and I are tall and we love that the back behind the cushion is padded just like a tight-back cushioned sofa would be, so we can sit either with the cushions on or off and be totally comfortable. Also- he can lay down on it fully and has room to spare at the end! He actually said that this is the best sofa we have ever had. Big plus is that we and our 2 kids can all sit on it together for movies, etc, and everyone has plenty of room. I only wish they would add a sleeper sofa option as we would purchase a second one with the sleeper if they did.

Beautiful, Comfy Couch

I love this couch! We bought it for a small sitting room, and it is perfect. My husband and I put the slipcover on (as a team), and it fit perfectly well. I am sympathetic to the other reviewer's difficulty getting the slipcover on, but we just didn't have that problem. In fact, if the cover were any looser, I don't think it would look right- not to say it isn't a tight fit. But I do admit that I wouldn't want to put this cover on by myself.
Otherwise, it is very comfortable and looks great! I especially love the low arm rests.

Slipcovers don't fit

When I received my Carlisle Sofa, I had a difficult time putting on the cover. It was so tight it drew across the front and the back. It did not look anything like the fit in the pictures or on the floor model in the store. I immediately called customer service because I knew that it would be impossible to get back on once washed. I sent photos showing that the back of the cover needed at least three additional inches. The company manufacturing the cover apparently didn't listen because a replacement cover arrived today. It is just as tight! The sofa is extremely comfortable, and I would give it a 5 rating if this problem could be corrected.
