Next to plain white dishes, our richly colored dinnerware brings warmth and appetizing ambiance to every meal. The glazed stoneware with visible natural undertones and rubbed edges is handcrafted in Portugal with an artisan-made look and feel. Dinner Plate: 12" diameter Salad Plate: 9.5" diameter Cereal Bowl: 7.5" diameter, 3" high; 15 fluid-ounce capacity Soup Bowl: 6" diameter, 4" high; 24 fluid-ounce capacity Mug: 5.5" diameter, 4" high; 12 fluid-ounce capacity Hand made in Portugal of glazed stoneware with rubbed edges. Microwave- and dishwasher-safe.

I waited months to buy these dishes, hoping for a better sale price, then finally broke down and bought the set with the soup bowls anyway. The dinner plates are huge, more like serving plates in my opinion. They don't fit in my cabinets or dishwasher, so I have them in my buffet and will use them for special occasions. The salad plates are just slightly smaller than my d dinner plates so that is what we use. The bowls are beautiful and I love the mugs for my morning coffee. They are gorgeous and wonderful to hold! So happy I bought these!

The dishware is a beautiful color. However, when it arrived, one bowl and the platter (purchased separately) were broken. I've received the replacement platter, but the bowl is on backorder until mid-July. I ordered these in March, 2012. The set is beautiful but the plates are too large for my standard sized kitchen cabinets - oddly enough.

Think the pieces are a tad on the too large size . . . but that is the style now. Otherwise, really love the purchase - particularly the sale price . . . love the color! Loved all the colors, had a hard time trying to make a choice - I chose right! ;-)

I received these dishes this week, and I used them tonight for the first time. They are just incredible...they look so handcrafted and the color is just amazing! I'm thrilled with my purchase!!!
