Caden Leather Bench
A century ago, jockeys often sat on benches like this to change into their riding boots. Ours is crafted with thick legs and a rich leather cushion trimmed with antique-bronze nailheads. I love the weathered look of this bench. It gives an added touch of home to any space. I purchased the magazine basket from Pottery Barn to place on the shelf below the seat. The magazine basket is a perfect add-on to this item.

I was looking for a comfortable entryway bench, and this fits the bill perfectly. The leather is a neutral color, and I like the way the wood is distressed. The bottom shelf is handy too. I currently have a Havana underbed basket there. The one thing I would mention is that when it arrived (fully assembled!), it had a very strong polyurethane odor. So we put it in an unused room for a few days to air out. Now, it's fine.

I needed an ottoman for our casual and small family room. I looked at the caden ottoman but it's size would have eaten up too much of the room. We opted for the caden leather bench because it had the same heighth of the ottoman (perfect for propping up feet) yet was 11 inches shorter in depth and 5 inches wider. Everyone on our sofa has a place to prop their feet. Our room isn't over crowded yet the piece definitely finishes off the room and makes a statement. And to top it all off, I have extra seating at a moments notice!

Beautiful leather and soft to sit on. Enough room for our shoes below. I love the earthy color and practicality of the bench next to our front door. It's a perfect fit, beautiful and great quality.
