Practical and rustically beautiful. This well made little bench was a great problem solver. Needed an ottoman for my club chair that would not take up a great deal of space. It looks great and serves its purpose with classic rustic charm. LInen nail head cushioned top has a wonderful hand and gives the stool a clean tailored look.... Love it

height is lower than 18"

I love the stool except the height is off by an inch which is an inconvenience but I kept it anyway because it matches the bar stools also in the kitchen. On top of the height being lower when you sit on the comfy stool you sink a little more. I am short and can adjust to it ,but most would not. I wish it was at least 18" in height.
