Build Your Own - Modular Bar Components
Store and display your entertaining essentials in our Modular Wine Bar, a stylish alternative to built-in cabinetry. Crafted of mahogany, hardwood and mahogany veneer. Shown left are an Open Hutch, Wine-Grid Hutch, Cabinet Base and Wine-Grid Base. The Wine-Grid Base accommodates 24 bottles. Cabinet base has 1 adjustable shelf, and a door that can be configured to open to the left or right. Open Hutch has three stemware racks that can hold a total of six wine glasses. Wood swatches, below, are available for $25 each. We will provide a merchandise refund for wood swatches if they're returned within 30 days. Catalog / Internet Only.

I had purchased a set of 4 modules a few years ago. They were so beautiful and practical that now I added another 2 to make a bigger piece. The wood is still exactly the same and you can't tell the pieces were bought almost 4 years apart.

We really love the looks of our Bar components. It is well built and arrived without a scratch. It has eliminated the need for wine racks stacked around the dining room and having bar accessories out of convenient reach.

We bought 3 components to make up a bar--2 units with doors and interior shelving, 1 with the capacity for 2 cases of wine. They were securely and beautifully packaged for shipping. That made us feel better about all the fees for handling and shipping. The units are every bit as nice as you would expect and, once installed, look like one cohesive unit. They have great capacity and look terrific.

Beautiful...but do not line up together at all.

These bar elements are really nice looking, equivalent to PB quality, however they do not sit next to each other well at all. The front does not align when the back is aligned and vice versa. The sides do not sit next to each other as well, they appear to be crooked when seated next to each other. For the price I expected better.

Not happy with this product. Bottom cabinet arrived without damage, but the not the top portion - had to send it back for replacement. Second top portion arrived and again damaged. Third one arrived undamaged but doesn't match the bottom. The bottom is a dark cherry color with no wood grain showing - actually looks painted. Top portion is lighter with a lot of wood grain. I had also noticed obvious variations in color with the two prior pieces that were damaged. One was more of a "medium brown" finish and the other was lighter as well. Will be sending everything back. Other than color, the quality of the product is okay. It might be alright in black.

We purchased three sections of the modular bar in black. It was well-packed and easy to assembly (not much to do either!). We chose two door-front cabinets and one with storage for wine bottles. The bar looks wonderful in our vacation home and fits a small kitchen alcove area perfectly. Cheers!

My husband and I bought this for our first place together to hold our wine collection. It is beautiful and we receive compliments on it every time we have company. We could not be more happy with it. It was definitely a great purchase!

I bought 6 (2x hutch, 2x wine grid base, 2x cabinet base) units with two stacked on each end. No assembly required with the exception of stacking and bracing the units together. Door on cabinet base was easily switch for symmetry. Color is a nice deep Mahogany. Bottom "Base" units adjust for uneven floors which was paramount as my tile floor has texture. Overall great looking piece with storage and function. My only gripe would be depth. I would have liked to of seen an additional 4 inches or so added to the depth for additional storage. Then again, it might make the wine grid a bit too deep and awkward.

I love my new modular bar system. I bought the black and it really grounds the room, and looks great. It's beautifully made like everything I have purchased from Pottery Barn. I'm really happy with it and would recommend it to anyone.

I have an open floor plan in my home, however, the space is not huge. I chose the modular bar because I didn't have enough space to put a buffet. I like the idea that you can make it as long as you want and since cabinets are not as deep as other dining room pieces, it doesn't take up a lot of floor space. I put a wine grid in the middle of two cabinets. It looks fantastic and really polishes off the room. The modular bar is a versatile piece that serves many purposes. In my case, it's a bar/buffet/storage unit. I am very happy that I made the purchase.

I bought the solid base and the wine glass hutch prior to this. Loved them so much, I returned for the wine rack base. They are solidly made and fit together well. They also have levelers so that I could fit them to the uneven floors in my old house. This one did have an area where the finish didn't hit - only a few smal flecks but noticeable. Called PB customer service and they were extremely helpful. Sent me a touch pen, which worked like a charm. Very happy with my purchase!
