a little too soft

Since the store didn't have the couch we took the advice of the sales woman and purchased this couch as it was in our budget, fit into our condo, and we liked the style. We still think its a nice couch with good color and structure but we wish the back support would have been more firm. We are currently searching for some larger, firm, throw pillows to help give the support we want.

I was a bit apprehensive ordering the apartment sized sofa but I am thrilled I did. It's just a tad smaller than my old sofa but doesn't look so heavy in my small house! I can still comfortably strech out and it's VERY comfortable. Love it! It's still new so we'll see how the cushions hold up:)

I bought the Buchanan apartment sofa in caramel twill. We received the sofa in early October. While the look is beautiful, the quality is not. The back of the sofa still had the fold creases from the fabric bolt in it. The back cushions were so lumpy-looking that Pottery Barn provided us with new pillow inserts, which was only a slight improvement. The twill fabric tends to wrinkle rather easily, which makes the sofa look much older and more used than a three-month old sofa should look. Last week when I removed all of the cushions to vacuum, I saw that the inside back was completely rippled, like the foam had shrunk and pulled. Overall, I am very disappointed with the quality of this upholstered piece.

What can I say? I absolutely love this sofa! It is a beautiful color of cream, actually, its lighter than what I expected it to be, but still, very lovely. I'm glad I ordered the apartment size even though it is in the living/dining room. A regular size would have been too large. I placed a standing mirror behind the sofa and it looks extremely elegant and lights up the room. I placed the cranberry wool jacquard pillows on it and the contrast is very complimentary. Perfect for the crisp fall season. Love it!

Love the size - I bought the sofa in white. It makes the room look bigger and brighter - VERY comfortable and LOTS of raves and compliments on it - Glad I bought it.

I ordered this sofa online in the brushed canvas sierra red color. I was a little worried about my order since you never really know what it will look like until it's actually in the room. I was also not happy about the stated 6-14 week delivery time, which seemed a little excessive, but was pleased it only took 5 weeks. It arrived yesterday and I'm very happy. Perfect size for a small room, but still large and deep enough to stretch out. Color is gorgeous, cushions are soft, and the fabric is soft and cozy. Delivery was on time, quick and careful. Very nice. I might order the chair to match now.

I am so glad I bought this sofa - got it in December of 2009 and have not regretted it. I use it all the time. It provides great support and is well-cushioned at the same time.
I'm about 5'4", and find it very comfortable for napping. When I remove the back cushions I think it's as deep as a twin bed. My niece slept on it comfortably when she stayed overnight, though it's a little short for her. Highly recommend!
