Benchwright Extending Dining Table - Rustic Mahogany stain
Inspired by the industrial character of a 19th-century worktable, our Benchwright Pedestal Dining Table provides a bold backdrop for creative entertaining. 48" diameter, 30" high, extends to 72" long; seats up to 6. Pedestal base is constructed of 8 trusses that evoke industrial architecture. Expertly crafted of hardwood with the look of salvaged lumber. Finished by hand in a rustic mahogany stain. Due to the nature of planked wood, the table may have small spaces between the panels. Wood swatches, below, are available for $25 each. We will provide a merchandise refund for wood swatches if they're returned within 30 days. I love this table so much. It looks rustic with the distressing, but still very refined. I get compliments on this piece all the time. Plus, I've had this table for almost a year now and still no scratches!

why veneer

My question is why put veneer on the oval table. The rectangle table and cabinet are made with solid wood as shown in the video..So why veneer on this one? We love the look of the table, but when the other two products are solid wood why would we pay as much money for veneer that could peel..

I have owned this table for about a month now and it is absolutely a beautiful piece of furniture. My husband and I bought the aaron chairs in Espresso to go with it. The chairs are slightly darker than the table but it compliments the darker stains in the table beautifully. It is very sturdy and was not bad to put together. You do need at least two men to help. It is very heavy and would be hard to do on your own if you are a female. We love it and hope to have it for many years!

My husband and I bought this table last month to accommodate our guests for Thanksgiving. We have a small house with a small dining area, so the fact that it could expands when we had company was attractive to us. It has a nice scale (we’re both over 6’ tall and it’s very comfortable for us) but it doesn’t overpower the room. We bought it at our local Pottery Barn store, took it home the same day and had it assembled in about a half an hour. The directions were simple and the materials are all high quality. It has a rustic yet modern look, and it looks sensational with the Aaron chairs in Mahogany. My one complaint is that it only seats 6. I wish you could buy additional leaves and the table would spread apart wider and you could drop in more leaves to accommodate more guests.

Standout table with Aron chairs. The design of base and table top are reminiscent of the arts & crafts period. PB service great as it would be difficult to put together yourself. Grateful they did it.

Solid rustic table

This table is very solid. I paired it with the Aaron upholstered chairs in Expresso. I like the rustic look and hope to enjoy it for many years.

LOVE IT!

Looked for months for just the right dining room table. I have been redoing my entire home in a more contemporary look; however, I walked into my local store and fell in love with this table. I paired it with the PB Parsons chairs w/ denim slipcovers and love the mix of contemporary with rustic. Everyone who comes into my home absolutely loves it!

Shabby quality

The Benchwright pedestal table is very attractive and solid. However, after only a few months the bottom part of the tabletop which is made of veneers has begun to peel. I am disaapointed with the quality given the price of the item.
