easier to put together than to get out of the box! love how the cubes make for a neat display of books or collectibles in our home office. once again, the wood finish matches perfectly to pottery barn furniture i've had for years.

I purchased the Bedford desk and 3x3 bookshelf for my home office and love it. I went back and purchased the small Bedford desk and file cabinet for a second, smaller office in our home. Solid construction and looks great!

Well-made bookcase. Shelves easy to install. The only negatives: cost (you get what you pay for, though, and it is worth it), and time/difficulty in unpacking box + getting rid of all of the excess packing. Bought fabric bins (at national chain discount retailer) to place in the cubbies I am not using for books, and they look great. It is a nice piece of furniture for my small home office!

Multi-use bookcase

I love the Bedford bookcase--I purchased the project table as an early Christmas present for myself and found it so helpful that I added this last 3x3 bookcase to use in my closet as a way of organizing my tee tops and sweaters. I may order another one to organize my husband's side of the closet! It is well-made, arrived already assembled and has a wonderful finish which is quite stain resistant. While pricey, the bookcase was well worth the price in terms of product, overall service and delivery.

WEIGHS 80 LBS. LOOKS GREAT IN

Excellent modest sized bookcase or curio case. Well made and shelves easy to install. Packed like a fragile egg-- well done. Fits perfectly with our furniture.

Bedford 3 x 3 bookcase is attractive, easy to assemble, and highly functional. Additionally, it fits into small office but may be increased in size with addition of modules

Came cracked

This is a nice bookcase, but after we had spent 15 minutes unpacking it, we discovered it had a crack at the bottom. By then, we had put so much effort into getting it out of the box and moving it that we decided it wasn't worth re-packing and send it back. The bookcase was very well packed, so I assume it was already cracked when it was shipped. Pottery Barn should check these items more carefully before it packs and ships.
