Vintage Bar Towels, Set of 2
Set a lighthearted mood with towels printed with the names of traditional pubs and taverns in vintage style. 16 x 18" Made of pure cotton. Set of 2. Monogramming is available at an additional charge. Monogram will be centered in the decal at one end of each towel. Machine wash. Imported. Catalog / Internet only.

A unique item

Liked the idea of being able to personalized these towels especially with free monogramming! Thought it would be a novel but useful gift for a guy who does a lot of entertaining. I'm lukewarm on these really which is unfortunate. I thought the material of the towel would be somewhat absorbent but it really isnt. So I think these will end up being more for show and conversation compared to actually its usefulness. But nice looking.

The towels are fine but the monogramming is an embarassment. It is miniscule compared to the picture in the catalog

Bar Towels - Disappointing

The quality was not very good for the price. I had them personalized with my husband's name and the name was not even spaced appropriately on the towel and looked horrible. I was embarrassed to give this to him as a gift. They were expensive towels that look very cheap.

I was going to call when I received the towels. I was really disappointed in the monogrammed name I had put on them! In the catalog the name/initials seemed very thick and bold. It really stood out. The name I had put on my towels was very thin and looked out of place with the rest of the writing. I purchase from Pottery Barn often and this is the first time I've been unhappy with a product! In this case "what you see" was not what you got!

I am a big fan of Pottery Barn (and will continue to be in spite of this under-whelming purchase). The Vintage Bar towels are not of the typical Pottery Barn standard. The designs on each of the towels (featured in the ad) take up approximately 1/4 of the towel. With the exception of two dark lines across the bottom of the towel, the rest of the towel is blank (boring beige). While the quality of the material is OK, these sad little creations have earned an F for aesthetics. I thought these would make a nice Father's Day gift...but alas, it was not meant to be. Back they go!

I was disappointed in these, smaller than they looked and the monogramming did not look good at all.
