Awning Stripe Beach Towel
Yarn dyed for lasting color, Jacquard woven for reversibility and sized for stretching out, our towels are the ideal companions for summer days at the beach, pool or lake. 40 x 72" Pure carded cotton. Plush 800-gram weight. Yarn dyed for vibrant, lasting color. Comfy to sit on and cozy to wrap up in after a swim. Monogramming is available at an additional charge. Monogram is 3" and will be centered on the band at one end of the beach towel. Machine wash. Catalog / Internet only. Imported.

Exceptional beach towels!

I gave three of these personalized beach towels as part of a wedding gift package. They were a huge hit. The towels are very large, well made and the colors were beautiful. After I saw how impressive the initial order was, I ordered more for Christmas gifts!

Not as vibrant as the catalog picture

We ordered 12 of these monogrammed towels for a new Cape Cod beach house. The new outdoor furniture is white and therefore we ordered the white and navy towels. The color and quality didn't exactly match the catalog layout. In the catalog the colors are a bold white and navy. The actual product was navy and more of a dull white. Actually closer to a grey. The quality of the towel was also thinner then expected.

The beach towel is very pretty. The only complaint I have is the Cross on the T is so thin you can hardly see it so it almost looks like an l.

Now I remember why I don't buy towels online

I had been wanting some nice matching simple towels for the summer for a while and finally thought I had found them in these: simple and well colored and I trusted the Pottery Barn brand to be sure they would be of good quality as well. They feel really nice -- very soft on the one side even after a few washings. However the dark colors (I have navy, red & green) show through the white stripes which makes them look REALLY CHEAP, which they were not. Now I remember why I don't buy towels online -- you never can tell until you see & feel them in person!! I would not recommend these and won't buy towels from PB again online unless I have seen & felt them already in a store or at a friend's.

These striped beach towels are great! I bought them for my children and had them monogrammed. The kids love them. They are big enough to really stretch out on and are very absorbent. These are typical of Pottery Barn merchandise - excellent, dependable, quality.

I Like the towels alot. Had them monogrammed, the colors of the towels don't exactly match the colors of the thread. I bought the white and black, white and red, white and navy blue, white and ligh blue and white and sage towels so I had the monograms sewn in white...the thread is a much brighter white than the towel white...but they are still nice looking.

The quality of the towel is great! Make sure that if you have it monogramed to match the color of the stripe you use ivory instead of white.

Poor quality pool towel

The towels looked incredibly good. Upon receipt, however, they were thinner than expected and showed the navy color on the reverse side. A poor selection on my part. I should have opted for those I have purchased in the past, for example, stripes running on both sides of the towel or simply a solid color (the same) on both sides.

I was very disappointed in this product. I have bought Pottery Barn towels - quite a few of them - each summer for at least the last 6 or 7 years and the quality of this towel was not up to par at all. The color was not vibrant and the contrasting stripe which showed to be white on line was actually off white

When washed the red stripe faded and bled into the white and looks pink -- not good! Had orginally wanted the blue and white stripe but was told it was on back-order for months! The towel is great, but now UGLY colors!!

I got these towels as a gift for my nieces and nephews who range in age from 10-19. The towels were HUGE and great quality. The monogramming was beautiful and I went back and ordered for my whole family. They wash beautifully and stay fluffy!!

I decided to purchase this for my sister for Christmas. We were at the beach this summer and her towel was old and tattered! I just happened to see the awning beach towel on the Pottery Barn website. The color is absolutely gorgeous and it's so thick and soft. I had her initials put on it also and it looks fantastic! Plus it was on sale! You gotta love that!

Great quality towels, used as a Big Brother/LIttle Brother gift. The monogramming process for online ordering was not user friendly at ALL. If it were, I'd give this 5 stars.

We bought the blue and white stripe towels and put some bible verses on the monogram. Turned out great. We use them in our gazebo and drape them over the lawn chairs. The towels are velvety soft and excellent quality. We love them.

SERVICEABLE BUT NOT ATTRACTIVE

THESE BEACH TOWELS ARE A VERY NICE, LARGE SIZE AND THE SEEM TO BE A NICE QUALITY AS WELL. I ORDERED THE DARK BLUE AND THE COLOR WAS A LITTLE DISAPPOINTING. I THOUGHT THE CONTRAST STRIPE WOULD BE A CRISP WHITE, BUT IT HAS A DIRTY LOOK AND IS KIND OF A GRAY-BLUE. THE TOWELS GAVE OFF SO MUCH LINT IN THE DRYER, I HAD TO EMPTY THE FILTER 3 TIMES BEFORE THEY WERE DRY. BUT I ONLY HAD THAT ISSUE WITH THE FIRST WASHING. I LIKE THE TOWELS, BUT I'M NOT VERY HAPPY WITH THE COLOR.

I absolutely love the monogrammed beach towel. It is large and thick and is great to wrap around yourself when you get out of the pool.
