Rugged and casual, our Ashby Dresser highlights the strength and beauty of spruce with its whorled knots and rustic planks or poplar with its beautiful grain. 50.5" wide x 22" deep x 40" high The mahogany-finished version is crafted from kiln-dried poplar; pine finish is built of kiln-dried spruce. I love this dresser. It is solid and the drawers slide well and without problem. It has a rustic feel but the beautifully turned feet make it look very pretty also. I wanted a dresser that was not too long as I did not have a huge space but I wanted something substantial enough to hold a lot. This one definitely does the trick and it looks good too.

"awesome" says my husband! this piece is gorgeous and timeless. i cannot wait to get more of this collection!!! very heavy, solid, well-built. the color (we got the mahogany) is so rich and makes my other cherry furniture look puny! the grain in the wood is distinct.
if you are looking for a rustic, yet classic piece, this is it! it pleases my cowboy husband and his city-girl wife (me!) -- best of both worlds.
the drawers are deep and slide pretty easily. 3 small drawers across the top and 2 large drawers below.....
the only negative i can say about this piece is that i'm sad i haven't had it years sooner!

I really like this Ashby Dresser, also love the collor. i think the size of the drawers are perfect . The dresser remainds me of the old dresser which my grandmother's had.

The Ashby dresser is so well made and we love the rustic pine finish! We have been searching for a dresser like this for years. I'm glad they offered more than one finish since we have pine furniture and the trend seemed to be only dark finishes for awhile.

My husband and I had the Ashby set delivered this week, the two dressers and two side tables in the mahogany, and we could not be happier. The furniture is beautiful to look at, and is extremely well-made. We are thrilled with it! The classic design will grow with the ages and always appear updated! I highly recommend this furniture.

After looking for a bedroom dresser, I'm thrilled to have found this piece. I love the Rustic Mahogany color and the planked sections that are on the top and sides of the piece. Note that this is a large, hefty dresser, in my opinion, with plenty of storage.
On the Quality:
The Ashby dresser is a heavy, solid piece of furniture. The top three drawers are wonderful; they are very deep and spacious. The two bottom drawers are huge, to say the least. The drawers are very strong and durable; definitely not flimsy when pulled out. All you need to do is simply assemble the four legs and the Ashby dresser is ready to use!

Seriously, I cannot praise the quality and construction of this piece enough. I originally was just going to purchase the dresser, but decided to also buy the matching Ashby dresser in the Rustic Mahogany, as well. If you are looking for top notch quality furniture and value, Pottery Barn definitely delivers with their Ashby furniture collection!

Solid product, well made. Even easy to move around as the legs are solid and don't bend under the pressure of moving the whole thing. Love the rustic finish!
