Dried artichokes take center stage

I bought these dried artichokes because they are real. I love them! I have them in an open weave bowl and they look beautiful as a centerpiece on our dining room table. The sizes are perfect-small to medium, making them nestle next to one another nicely. Because the artichokes are real, the colors are true to life. The greens and browns blend together to form a unified look. These artichokes are the perfect touch for my home!

My worst PB purchase ever....

The pictures are large artichokes. These are so tiny I couldnt do anything with them to make them presentable. I even bought two bags. They look so silly. I would give anything to return them and get my $40 back...... Very disappointed in this product.

Size misrepresented

The largest of the five artichokes I received was barely 3.5 inches in diameter, and the other four very small. Most were poorly formed - one really not recognizable as an artichoke. The picture shown and description of them averaging 4.5 inches in diameter are both terribly misleading. Perhaps I got the "bottom of the barrel", but definitely a disappointment for the price.

I purchased two sets and placed them in an antique dough bowl on my kitchen table. They are absolutely gorgeous. Everyone thinks they are real. They are a real conversation piece besides looking just beautiful. I would recommend purchasing two sets. Some are quite large, but many are on the smaller size, so the mix of two sets is perfect. I love these, because although I switch out and place seasonal items in the large dough bowl, these can stay out all year. Love them!

For the money, they are not worth it.

I've been searching high and low for the perfect, natural looking, green-hued centerpiece for my kitchen table. I try to stay away from faux botanicals as much as possible and had even tried to dry out my own artichokes, but they didn't turn out anything like these beauties!! These are a gorgeous shade of green and are very textural. I love them. Thanks Pottery Barn...once again you have the perfect solution to my home decorating needs!

Beautiful vase / hurricane filler!

There is something about artichokes that I love as a decoration! Maybe because they're unexpected. The color is a beautiful green and they look fabulous displayed in a hurricane, covered jar or vase. I purchased two packages (5 in each package) to fill a glass hurricane, 8"dia.x13.5"H, and could probably use about 3 or 4 additional artichokes.
