Arista Palampore Duvet Cover & Sham - Espresso
Among the most sought-after fabrics of 18th-century France were those printed with indigo, a natural dye imported from the Far East and the New World. Our bedding captures the exotic, romantic feel of those antique French textiles with a lush garden printed in soft color on an ivory ground. Woven from a cotton/linen blend. Duvet cover and sham reverse to same. Duvet cover has a button closure and interior ties; sham has an envelope closure. Duvet cover, sham and insert sold separately. Machine wash. Imported.

I was surprised that the fabric on these shams was so stiff, even after washing and using fabric softener. The entire look of these shams, like the details - of which there were none - was so cheap looking.
I have purchased a lot of bedding items, pillow cases, etc. and the quality of the fabrics, stitching and details have always been excellent from Pottery Barn. I was disappointed. Thank goodness I did not pay full price.

Nice pattern

I purchased two shams to add a chocolate brown pattern to my bedding which is off white. It is very nice and adds just the right touch for an elegant look.

The background color was a little darker than expected, (more tan than white), and I'll probably have to sew some tabs on my comforter to get it to stay in place in the duvet cover, but overall I'm very satisfied. It is a very pretty addition to my bedroom!

Really like duvet, but was a little disappointed in the background color. From the picture in the catalog and on-line, I thought the background was white not off-white (white would have gone better with my decor). It would have been helpful in the description if the background color had been specified. Just something I will be more alert to in the future.

This duvet is gorgeous and very well made but the description isn't correct. When I received this I was shocked to find a KHAKI background and NOT the ivory as stated. I am having a hard time matching up the drapes due to the background. I don't want the same pattern for the windows as I feel that would be way too busy for the room and would create a smaller area. The set is pretty but if your expecting the ivory background, it isn't!
I too want the ivory and haven't decided if I am keeping or returning.

I love the bedding look and feel. However, I was disappointed that the shams did not match. One had a bird in the center of it. The other one did not. So they look funny on the bed.
