Inspired by a vintage window frame, this piece is distressed and textured by hand for a timeworn look. 38" wide x 47.25" high x 4" thick Crafted of fir with a distressed painted finish. Shutters open and close. Internet only.

I KNEW it was going to look different...

Okay, the picture of the mirror over the mantle in the "in home shot" was WONDERFUL -- I particulary wanted that sanded away, weathered look. So naturally I was concerned that the "product" photos also shown online were NOT really very weathered at all. But I took my chances...
GOOD NEWS -- mine IS a creamy white and not that sage color others have described. PHEW. It's a nice mirror, but I'm not sure I'll keep it unless I can weather it like the picture "in home" -- but then if I "weather" it I can't return it...but then who would question if it looked like at least ONE of the pics shown online!!! It has more of a spray textured paint on it, definately doesn't have the aged look I wanted....
Be forewarned! If you're crafty you can probably do whatever technique they HAD to have done before they staged that picture....but if you're not, and you wanted the look I was going for, you will be disappointed.

I fell in love with this when I saw it in the catalogue and the web site. I was expecting antique white-shabby chic style mirror. When it was delivered, I was very disappointed because of the color and the way it's painted. I was considering returning it, but I LOVE the design! It's beautifully crafted, so I decided to keep it! I painted it with the color that I wanted( swiss coffee white) and did sanding for weathered surface. It looks GREAT! I'm very satisfied with this mirror!

mirror was not as pictured

The mirror came in an ugly green brown color, not the antique white it was pictured in the catalog. I returned the item twice and requested a refund. The color was hedious.

As was previously written, I have been waiting for this item to return. I am not disappointed! It looks wonderful in our entrance hall and really opens up the space The color is what I would call a sage, but thanks to others suggesting that, I got the mirror, as it fits perfectly with the Tuscan vine painting behind...Best thing yet from Pottery Barn.

I have been wanting this mirror for over a year, and finally they had it in stock!!! When it arrived I was not thrilled about the color. There is another comment about how this mirror is a sage-ish color, and it is much, much darker than white. It looks more like the picture with the Christmas tree in it. I thought that the mirror was just dark because of a shadow of the tree, but it really is pretty dark. I did end up keeping it. Once I hung it up, I realized the color is fine. If you order this mirror just keep in mind the color is NOT white, but it looks great up on the wall. This is such a unique piece!!!

my favorite window

It is a great addition to my living room. Very nicely crafted, it reflects light and creates the romantic illusion of an antique window on a different world. It mixes very well with the contemporary style of my couch. The little pegs on the metal pieces are perfect to hang garlands and Christmas ornament. The small sill is ideal to display small objects and candles. I was disappointed when the first shipment was damaged during transportation, but your Customer Service sent out a replacement even before picking up the broken item, and the second time it arrived in one piece.

absolutely one of my favorite purchases from pottery barn. We remodeled our bath and were looking for an unusual piece to put over our tub. The mirror was perfect! I would highly recommend it!

This mirror looked great in the catalog but looked like contact paper over particle board when it arrived. Very disappointing!!!!

This mirror is beautiful! Each mirror pain is beveled. The arch creates an unique look. The color is a bit darker than I expected and the rustic look is very "rustic". However, it is perfect for the place in your home where you want a window or reflection and do not have one. I chose to place this above my family room fireplace where the decor is a shabby chic garden look. Very heavy. I had to screw it into a header beam to be safe. I feel so fortunate that I bought this as I see it is no longer available. I hope PB gets more to sell as it is a wonderful piece!

Color not as pictured

I reluctantly returned this mirror because the paint color was a bit off. Perhaps they vary? In the photo the mirror appears to be ivory however the one I received was a creamy sage. You won't be disappointed with construction. Its super solid and heavy and well packaged. Larger than I expected and impressive, just disappointed with color.
