Antique-Silver Snack Bowl
We worked hard to re-create the timeworn patina of vintage hotel silver that's received years of polish and care. Designed to convey the warmth and character of an heirloom, our snack bowl features the phrase "Family is belonging to and believing in each other." inscribed across its rim. 6" diameter, 4" high Made of brass with an antique silver-plated finish.

Sweet little bowl..

I received this as a gift myself and I love to give it to new families.... Perfect for samall items (nuts, mints, candy) I often put floral arrangements in mine and mix with other pewter/silver pieces... It is a "go to" gift for me!

I was disappointed that one of the inscriptions around the bowl was not as it should be. It was hard to read in areas and kind of smudged. Quality control must have missed it. I would have returned it for exchange, but needed to use it at Christmas.

I bought the antique-silver snack bowl and wine opener as wedding gifts (on two separate occasions). Of course I had to peak before wrapping them. They are very attractive in person...really had a nice looking antiqued finish. Both seem to be solid and sturdy, though I cannot comment on usage. I've also admired the larger serving bowl.
I gave 4 stars because I haven't not used the product, could only comment on "in person" charcteristics and appeal.

I was at someones house when their family arrived for thanksgiving and one brought the BIG bowl,it was a very big hit,its very big and gorgeous,would make an excellent gift for anyone!! I loved it, everyone was in Awe,the writing totally made it a great hit.

It's always nice when something looks better than the catalog/web photo and this bowl is one of those things! The color in the photos looks somewhat pewter, but it is silver and has a nice patina. The engraving is a nice added touch. I'm waiting for the larger bowl to arrive and am guessing it will be a nice surpise too.
