It is a really nice piece! Very substantial in weight and size. We recently received new silver flatware and serving utensils for our wedding and the one piece that wasn't available (that I really wanted because I love making pies) was a pie server so when I saw this one I was really excited! The antiqued look is not so much that it doesn't blend well when used alongside my new silver but just enough to have a "well used and loved" feel.

Purchased this on-line as a gift for my niece. I was pleasantly surprised to see the pie server being used at a family get together on Christmas Eve. It was a nice, heavy, very attractive piece. I like it so much I'd like to order one for myself!

I bought this piece two weeks ago at my local PB store. I all ready have the ladle and serving fork and spoon.
The pie server has a lovely finish and I can't wait to use it at Thanksgiving.
