Not only are they pretty and dress up a table but they protect it as well. I like that they do not match.

Cute, but not practical

These coasters are very attractive, but our coffee mugs are too big to sit on them. They are 3" at the part where you set your drink. They work well for candles and for stemmed glassware, but beware that the first time you put a cold drink on them, you will get rust marks that don't come off! I caught mine before the orange rust came, but there are marks from the condensation that DO NOT come off no matter what.
So, get a set and use them for candles or use very cautiously with drinks. I had three sets and only kept one set. I'm mostly disappointed that they don't work with coffee mugs.

I bought these coasters over 6 months ago and use them daily - they are extremely well-made and hold up very well. I love the vintage design and look of these coasters.

Pretty and sturdy coasters

These coasters look great under a nice crystal double old fashioned glass. Just get 4 of them for the living room - no need to get a full set of 12 for the whole dining room table - you won't use them all. These are better suited for cocktailing in the living room than dining in the dining room. They are pretty and sturdy and I like looking at them on my coffee table and office desk.

Looks great, they don't stack well

very durable and look great, they don't stack though so keep that in mind. We have them out on our coffee table and end tables. Would be nice if they could easily stack for storage when not in use.

These coasters are very attractive, but poor quality. If you let water sit in them for very long, the finish is ruined, and becomes pitted and rusted. Do not buy these coasters unless you want to constantly be drying them.

The coasters rust

I'm not sure if they are supposed to, but the coasters do rust if you put glasses with condensation on the coasters. I was mad at first, now I'm patient that it might look cool. Still looks a bit strange that on my desk my water glass coaster is rusted while my coffee coaster is brand new looking. I'll see how I feel in a month or so. It rusted after about 2 or 3 uses. I've now had it for about 2 weeks.

I love these coasters they are beautiful to look at and work well as drink coasters and to put under votive candle holders to keep from contact with much loved furniture!

Love these coasters when I'm using smaller placemats or no placemats at all. They're quite rich looking - go beautifully with sterling or stainless.
