Andover Cabinet - Weathered Red finish
Like well-traveled furniture pieces that have been painted and repainted over time, this cabinet has a richly layered finish. Place two cabinets side by side (shown) to create a console. 37" wide x 14" deep x 36" high Small drawers, both real and false, conceal strategically designed storage. Four drawers on top house remotes and peripherals. Features 2-door cabinet below with 2 adjustable shelves. Red drawer fronts are accented by hand with touches of bronze and black in multiple steps that include painting, sanding and burnishing. Cabinet's top has a rich espresso finish. Looks great in my entryway!

This replaced a lovely but over-burdened console table at my front door. I love it! Great red color, lots of storage. I like that there are both drawers (big enough for envelopes and stamps) as well as concealed shelving. It's not an annoyance to me, but I agree with folks that the magnets on the doors of this item (and the Andover media piece) are very strong. They are a little loud when closing--but they are also sturdy and virtually toddler-proof, which is a fair trade in my book!

We love our new media cabinet. The distessed look on the cabinet is very tastefully done. It is very well constructed and stores lots of CD's that we were not able to easily access before.

This cabinet is the perfect companion piece to the matching media cabinet. Really dresses up the room and is refined yet rustic looking. LOVE IT!!!

Gorgeous sturdy piece, has a few scratches and indents to maintain it's "weathered" and handmade look, which I could do without, but all and all a great purchase! Many compliments.

Bring back the white finish!

I am in love with this cabinet; everytime I go to our local Pottery Barn, I am drawn to it. But when are they going to bring back the weathered white finish?? It would look perfect in our foyer. I am crossing my fingers and hoping that Pottery Barn does the right thing and re-stock soon!!!

We have been enjoying our Andover cabinet since it arrived before Christmas--it is a nice addition to our country-eccectic assembly of furniture...it has a rustic look, but a 'finished' feel--I like the satiny finish. I was surprised to find that the piece looks better in person, and is really beautifully made. Pottery Barn does a very nice job of offering quality items, and I will continue to look to Pottery Barn for my future furniture purchases.

I love this cabinet. It is not what you see in everyone's house. The weathered red finish looks great and the design and is a quality piece of furniture. The two men who delivered it were excellent and on time. I appreciate my experience with Pottery Barn!

Entertainment Piece

I am sorry to say this is probably the only thing I have ever ordered from the pottery barn that I have been unhappy with. It is advertised as an entertainment piece so I didn't even think to bother measuring the interior to make sure my components fit... They did not. My basic cable box was too large and the cabinet was not deep enough. Everything else about the piece was perfect from color to height but I can't imagine who could use it with the depth problem. I would only strongly suggest you measure your components before ordering. I had to have it picked back up :(

We have the Weathered Walnut finish which has the distressed look but with the benefit of "new". The inside shelf space is easy access and amble storage for the family night games. It's the perfect cabinet.

I have been looking at this piece for a long time and finally bought it. It's in my entryway and it is absolutely beautiful. What a great piece of furniture to see when you walk through the door. If you are considering this, you will not be disappointed.

I love this cabinet. I purchased the 2 and it makes my family room come alive! The colors are exactly as they appear online. We have a red accent wall and black leather furniture and this cabinet matches beautifully. The quality is definitely high end! A nice solid piece of furniture.

I changed the knobs on this and added some mixed media art to the front. It is absolutely one of my fav pieces. Great storage and interesting piece with or without changing the knobs.
PB customer service was awful at first -- delivered the wrong piece but then made it all better and I am now a happy shopper again.

Bought this cabinet as an entryway piece and it has exceeded my expectations. The colors are gorgeous and I love the storage space. I agree with several previous reviewers that the doors do slam shut, but I don't find it to be a major issue.

Exceeded My Expectations

When I ordered the Andover Cabinet, though I loved it in the catalog, I feared that it wouldn't be appropriate in color or quality for my small condo living space when it arrived. Now that I'm in a smaller space, if something doesn't fit the intended space, there's no place else to put it. I have never been more pleasantly surprised by a piece of furniture that I ordered from a photo. The quality of construction is excellent and the colors are true to the photographs. It exceeded my expectations in every way and I couldn't be more pleased.

The Andover cabinet looks beautiful in my bedroom below our t.v. Nice storage. Great quality. Absolutely LOVE the colors. I wish I had the room and the money to buy a second because the two together in the catalog look great. I love that this piece of furniture can go just about anywhere. If I change the style of my bedroom I can move this down to my family room. Love it!

I am somewhat disappointed that you cannot fit DVDs vertically on the middle shelf. Also, the magnet closer on the bottom of the left door came loose immediately after receiving the cabinet. Love the exterior finish.

I purchased two of these cabinets and arranged them side by side. They look spectacular. I am very pleased with their appearance, craftmanship and functionality.I would highly recommend them to any customer that is considering them.
