Really great rug

Pottery barn has really great rugs for the money. This is one of three that I have recently purchased and I love them all. The colors in this one are gorgeous and it has a lush, expensive feel. The only comment I would have is that I wish it came in more sizes, I could have used a 9x7 but went with the 5x8.

Love these colors

I make many purchases relying on the thumbnail pictures online, since it's a 2-hour drive one way to the nearest PB store. I am very happy with this rug. The colors are true to what is shown online, beautiful muted blues, reds, and golds, not too bright or "faked". The pattern is not symmetrical on the size I ordered, that is, it has a definite top and bottom to the pattern, but since the thumbnail revealed that fact, I thought it wouldn't matter, and it doesn't. The rug looks lovely highlighted by the wood floor.

I ordered this rug in the 10 x 14, like the larger size.
Home delivery service was good.
Shipping charges too high with the long wait time, too long for transporting

Rug itself is well made, backing is good. It sheds but not too bad.
As others have said, dark rich colors shown in most photos are not accurate. Photo of rug shown in room with sofa is most accurate. Background color is a somewhat faded gray, not consistent throughout and not a deep Navy Blue. Color contrast would be striking with Deep Navy background. Other colors are good.

Lovely Rug, But Colors are Wrong

It's a beautiful, well-made rug, but the colors are more muted than the photos indicate. The navy is more of a slate gray and the red appears more coral/salmon. The search for a living room rug continues.

I love PB rugs but sometimes the coloring is so different than the pictures. I was hoping for deep navy but it was a dull gray navy mix. Sent it back to try to find better fit for me.

I have the 9X12 and the runner. I really like the rugs - good quality. I did order a sample first to see the actual colors and that helped me. Be aware that these rugs "shed" like crazy. My vacuum bag is filled every other time I vac them and my floors are covered with dust bunnies of shedded rug.

Not Blue at all!

The rug just arrived and I am pretty disappointed. The background color is really not blue at all--instead it is a charcoal gray that tends toward blue, rather like gun metal. And it's colors are not vibrant at all--they're subdued and cloudy--not the true colors represented on the website or in the catalog. It's probably going back...what a colossal pain! :(
