Alessandra Floral Reversible Duvet Cover & Sham - Gray
A 250-year-old hand-blocked textile from Provence was the model for our Alessandra floral. We collaborated with our fabric printer to capture its design, then printed it on weighty, textural linen/cotton for bedding of extraordinary substance. Woven of linen/cotton. Duvet and sham reverse to self. Duvet cover has interior ties and a button closure. Sham has an envelope closure. Duvet cover, sham and insert sold separately. Machine wash. Imported.

I read all the reviews before I purchased this set. Yes, it's not quite gray but the picture is close, depending on your monitor. Yes, it's a bit small width-way for a queen bed but it does cover my pillow top mattress, not including the box spring (I like it this way) since I use a skirt. It is not scratchy like someone went on about, but not smooth as silk. It feels like a soft ticking. The fabric comes out of the dryer unwrinkled (take it out right away as with most cottons). I like the heavier (as in stronger), fabric. It should last a good long time. It's not too hot for cooler rooms but then again this is a cover, your duvet thickness is what really counts here.
I give this set an A+++. I love it.

Love the classic look. Great soft fabric. Using it in our guest room but didn't want to. Wanted to keep it for the master bedroom. Excited for company!

I am very happy with my purchase. Great quality and the look I wanted. The website called the color charcoal, it is actually a warm taupe color, as pictured, which is what I was hoping for.

I love this duvet cover! Good quality & nice design. The only problem is it's not gray. More of a brown which actually worked out perfect for what I wanted.

This was a Christmas present to myself. After years of having a bachelor pad looking bedroom I splurged and go this bedding and absolutely love it!! Not only is it gorgeous, feminine but not too frilly, it also makes me feel so cozy at night. I love it love it love it!!

Love the colors, but was disappointed

The colors are beautiful. They are a green/linen and cream. Certainly not grey, which was fine. We had to purchase smaller box springs, since they showed under the comforter. We have a king bed, and I feel that the size runs a little small. I was also disappointed to see that a king sized sham is not available. We purchased the duvet and comforter first to make sure we liked the colors, and when I looked into ordering the shams, I found that there are only standard and euro shams. I'm not sure what we will do about that yet. Overall, beautiful product. If you have anything smaller than a king bed, I would order the next size up!

Gorgeous, but ties?

Gorgeous, neutral color that complements my room wonderfully. However, it attaches to the duvet with ties and my duvet does not have anything to tie them onto. I ended up having to tie the corners and the manufacturer's label to keep it in place. I'll have to sew attachment points on as time permits. Otherwise it is a beautiful fabric and looks very elegant.

Love this bedding!

I love the look and feel of this bedding! It has a thick and luxurious feel, very high quality thick linen. I am very picky, this being the 4th comforter/duvet I've purchased trying to find the perfect one for our master bedroom, and I finally found the perfect color/design. Although, I would consider it more on the taupe, possibly even a little hazelish side instead of gray, it still looks really good with our dark stain furniture and slate blue walls. I purchased the king comforter, two standard shams, three brown ticking stripe euro shams (like in the pic), ivory PB essential bed skirt and king micromax comforter and it all works great together. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5: it would be nice if PB offered king size shams - the standard ones look good enough but are disproportionate sitting in front of 3 euro shams on a king sized bed.

Beautiful with Rustic, Antique or Country

I love the colors of this comforter set. I happen to pair it with an antique brass bed and French Country lighting - along with antlers!!! You see it and just want to jump onto the bed. Kind of like when you walk in to a Pottery Barn store and see those luscious beds set up. Just need to add a cozy wood stove.

Love this Duvet but the beige design on my euro sham was a different shade then the beige design on my Duvet. The sham had a darker beige and the Duvet was a light cream color. A little dissapointing.

I love Pottery barn bedding, but this bedding was just the wrong color. I thought it was going to be more of a gray color and it was more green. Still a beautiful pattern!

In love with this duvet!

I purchased this and was skeptical because some of the previous reviews said it was not soft. However, it is so perfect and I am in love with it! Its soft and cozy but not too heavy. The color is not at all grey but more of a biege or dark tan color--which is more of what I was wanting anyway. I have a large queen bed (thick pillow top mattress) so I ordered the king size and glad I did b/c it covers the sides perfectly. The queen would have been too small. Only drawback of having to get the king size is that its too long length wise but I just fold it over and it works out just fine. Dont waste your time ordering down comforters to fit it because I did and returned all of them to finally order the PB down comforter because it fits just perfect. Great purchase and investment! Thinking of adding a quilt to it in t he winter for extra warmth

I bought this bedding to pull together a more monochromatic look for my master bedroom...I love the way it turned out! The grey has more brown tones which compliments my espresso wood furniture. The linen texture is rougher than I had hoped...hoping it will soften up a bit in the wash...

The print is much nicer in person. My only negative comment would be that it is too short. I would suggest ordering it in the next size larger. The problem with that is that you have to pay for the larger size. It would have been nice had the queen bedding fit a queen bed! But if you don't mind paying the extra to have it fit, it really is a beautiful duvet.

I absolutely love this duvet cover. I originally bought the same pattern in red, but did not like that it wasn't reversible. This color Allesandro is reversible and the material seems a little bit softer. Great color and I am planning to redo my bedroom around this bedding and adding kelly green accents. I also bought the fern pillow in the picture.

There is only one tie inside the Duvet, and i like to have all four to keep the duvet centered. Also, won't like it if this new duvet goes on sale soon!

The only complaint is the grey is not a true grey but more of a tan-grey tone. The duvet is beautiful though
