Adjustable Column Floor Lamp Base
Our Adjustable Column Floor Lamp Base has a sliding mechanism that lets you adjust it to the optimal height. 10" square, 52" high; adjusts to 73". Double pull chains activate 2 bulbs, which operate individually or in tandem. Crafted of solid brass. Pair with our large Linen Drum Shade or any of our large Mix & Match(R) shades (all shades sold separately). love this lamp

Looked for several weeks for just the right lamps. Didn't want one like everyone elses, something unique but not too unusual. When we buy good pieces we keep them forever. When we got the lamps we found that they have two levels of brightness for each bulb - what a nice surprise! The bases of the lamps are heavy so we don't have to worry about them getting knocked over. We are really enjoying the lamps and are glad we found these particular ones.

LOVE THE LAMP AND SHADE

THE LAMP AND SHADE ARE GREAT BUT; THE SHADE DOESN'T HANG STRAIGHT. AS I SAID BEFORE, I DON'T KNOW IF IT'S BECAUSE OF THE SHADE OR BECAUSE OF THE LAMP. THE CUSTOMER SER. REP. SAID I COULD RETURN WITHOUT SHIP. CHARGES. I DON'T FEEL LIKE REPACKING THE LAMP OR THE SHADE SO I WILL LIVE WITH THAT. OTHERWISE I WOULD GIVE 5 STARS.

Best lamp base in my house!

I bought the floor lamp base in bronze, and I am very pleased with it. Assembly was a snap, and it looks beautiful with the tapered drum lamp shade I bought to go on it. This is a very sturdy, well-crafted lamp, and I will definitely add the table lamp to the same room as well. I love the adjustable column feature, which really makes the lamp versatile for use in many different areas of my home. Certainly worth the expense, as this lamp is much nicer than any I have bought at the discount or big-box home improvement store. Thanks, PB!

Excellent quality

This lamp base is quality through and through. The brass is heavy and smooth with a lovely patina. The base is sturdy and holds the rest of the lamp perfectly with no "wobbling". It went together easily, and I should know, as I'm disabled, and I put it together myself. The pull chains work smoothly. It's beautiful, and I'm thrilled.

Adjustable floor lamp

I too am indebted to trotter for the help in adjusting the height. I was having difficulty lowering it. Now the lamp is perfect in my living room and the transitional look is great. I almost bought a lamp twice the price at another store and am glad I saw this one. Looks just as good and at 1/2 half the cost

Very pleased with this purchase. The lamp is absolutely gorgeous. Fits in nicely with the rest of our contemporary furniture. Thanks Trotter for posting how to adjust the lamp. Hubby and I were getting really frustrated as to how to adjust the height! Much appreciated!

just love the lamp

the quality is really standout and the look is just perfect for my living room. The adjustable height is a bit tricky, you'll need to lift the whole lamp off the floor a bit to pull or push the adjustable column.

RECIEVED LAMP AND CHAMPAGNE MICA SHADE IN WONDERFUL CONDITION-PACKING WAS EXCELLENT. EASY TO ASSEMBLE. PROVIDES SUCH AMBIANCE IN OUR COLONIAL STYLE LR BETWEEN LEATHER CHAIRS. THE LIGHTING THRU MICA SHADE IS BEAUTIFUL, AND PROVIDES PLENTY OF LIGHT TO READ BY. THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME TO BUY ANY TYPE OF LIGHT FIXTURE FROM A CATALOG AND COULDN'T BE MORE IMPRESSED WITH POTTERY BARN'S QUALITY AND SERVICE.

Great lamp - excellent quality

We bought the adjustable floor lamp and the matching bedside lamp. They look great in our bedroom - we got the natural fiber shades in large and small to match the lamps. I think these shades provide nice texture. Good quality lamps, easy to put together. Highly recommend.
