This is the most beautiful, well-made, soft, lovely area rug! The colors are amazing - online picture was very accurate. The blue is "me" and the cream and warm beige pick up the warmth of my bamboo floors beautifully. Very plush feeling to the toes, too!

Luxurious pills

Love the tactile feel of the rug. Guests love the muted colors which in sunlight are much more light blue than the greens you see in the online picture.
The main problem is that the wool pills CONSTANTLY! Every day, we have to pick up little dust bunnies from the constantly shedding rug and we're not a high traffic family or anything. It's well beyond any wool rug I've experienced in the past and to the point where we may sell it on Craigslist.

It's the perfect centerpiece in front of the fireplace to set off my new almond colored sofa and striped blue chair. It picks up the colors in the artwork in the room. Very soft on the feet, too.

The blue on the inside of the border isn't as navy as the picture, but the rug is absolutely beautiful. It's soft and plush. Even if it's not as dark as the picture, it's staying in my home. I'm very impressed with PB.

I was not disappointed, the color, quality and style was better than expected.

This is the second area rug we have purchased from Pottery Barn, the first was about 10 years ago. This rug,, while beautiful, does not match the same quality of the first. Further, I was disappointed to learn that the new rug's maintenance recommendations prohibit the use of a vacuum cleaner, which uses the brush beater bar. This requires much more effort to vacuum.

This rug looks exactly as featured in the catalog but nothing prepared me for the quality and softness. The colors are true, the workmanship excellent and it really makes my sitting area pop! Packaging was first rate, also, and my new carpet arrived in pristine condition. No more carpet shopping at any other place for me!

Pretty, but holy sheep does it it shed!

As lovely as this rug is, I am severely disappointed in how much it sheds! I have clumps of gray fluff constantly developing and floating around the room.
I've had the rug since late December 2010, so the shedding isn't due to its being new. In fact, I'd say it's gotten worse.
But, if you don't mind sweeping and vacuuming on a nearly daily basis, the rug is rather pretty and subtle. I'm just perturbed that I finally decided to plop down some moolah for a rug after searching for almost a year, only to have it shed like this. Makes me think that within a couple more months, I'm going to have a threadbare spot or two.
Oh, and it's not a high traffic area, either. Very disappointed. Wish I could return.

Nice rug - but it truly does shed!!!

I purchased this rug in October and it looks beautiful in our den. It feels very plush underfoot. However, because of the shedding, I would not purchase this rug again. I wanted the Maren rug, but so many of the reviews mentioned the shedding, so I went with the Adeline. I vacuum it once a week and there is still rug tumbleweed throughout our kitchen and in our living room. If you want to avoid the shedding problem, this rug should probably be vacuumed twice a week. In retrospect, I would've gone with the Maren rug if I had known I'd be dealing with the shedding either way.

I love these carpets. They are nice and thick feel great under foot and have beautiful colors!

This runner works perfectly in our foyer. We had ordered runners before this one and they just didn't blend in right; but this one was perfect. Blues are such a hard color to match with success. The colors on the website are correct, a steely blue. We are so happy with the color and quality, we ordered the room size for the living room as well. Can't wait to get it. Delivery was prompt. It came well protected. Very happy!

We placed this beautiful rug in our living room where we have a navy blue couch and chair, also a tan chair. The rug highlights this furniture and is the center focus of our new living room. The wool rug is good quality.
